pingo
My latest project is now about 50% built, so I thought I'd take some pictures. Since it was released I wanted an LSS, but I didn't want to still have the scouts on there when they've disembarked. So, I figured magnets were the way to go. And because I'm me, I didn't want to just keep the scouts as they were. I want them outfitted for close combat with bolt pistols and CCWs, so I needed to convert that. The Sergeant is armed with a powerfist. Further, I wanted to adjust the poses a little if I could. The LSS itself is armed with a heavy flamer, converted with the help of a handy mid-90's bit I rediscovered about a year ago. I've yet to do the GS work as I'm waiting on a couple of new sculpting tools to try out. Anyway: here's the pictures. Not all of them are that clear due to everything being grey. The next half of this project will be building the scouts' disembarked counterparts. Typical Cricket
Cool idea! I love the pose on that first scout - where he's reaching for the knife on his back. pingo
Well, not a bad evening's work: my disembarked Sergeant with powerfist and combi-flamer. This is the first time I've tried to re-pose Scout legs and it seems to have worked ok. Apologies for the lack of GS work: my sculpting tools are still en route. C&C me :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/187165-land-speeder-storm/#findComment-2215456 Share on other sites
Pulse
The pose is great i think, obviously little touch ups will be applied when your tools arrive but i think the movment on the model is great, really gives the sense that whoever will be on the receiving end of the punch will probably be a bit worse for wear after. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/187165-land-speeder-storm/#findComment-2215470 Share on other sites
