Khorne Skull Champion

I had purchased this model off of a friend to use in a 40k skirmish game that our local group has been working on for a few years. The Skull Champion will be my commander for the Chaos Cultists squad that I am currently developing. So this mini in itself was a blast to paint. I really like the pose of the model. I also tried a technique that was new for me, and that is wet blending. You can see it more around the legs and on the backpack. Upon taking the pictures I have found some mold lines ( oh nooooos!!) but as I do not have a dremel and shaved all the others down by hand with a file (this is a metal model btw) I think I did a pretty good job. Anyways here he his! Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks all for you comments! As I said this one was a blast to paint.

@ gil galed: This model came in a blister pack I do believe. If you check out GW's site there are some with alternative weapons and heads.

@ Imalwayscold: Ya, I like it to seem like he had a helmet on. I did not like how GW's model looked with the head painted a flesh color. To me it just looked......off. Like something wasn't right with the model.
