Muzza
Looks good, is the look your going for one of it looking a different colour where the light hits it (like on TVR cars)\a liquid effect. - Ok I know what I mean even if everyone else doesn't. Anyway It looks great, I wasn't too sure when you first put the base coat on, but after these latest pics-WOW!! Will all your marines be painted like this or is this a special one off colour scheme for this model? nirvasch
It's not that difficult - but takes a lot of time, and glazing, and underpainting, and glazing and underpainting and so on :/ Ok taking a few hours break - don't want to get bored with this one :teehee: Don't really know what to make with those tubes - think will do them silver nmm maybe ... http://i835.photobucket.com/albums/zz273/nirvasch/16.jpg http://i835.photobucket.com/albums/zz273/nirvasch/17.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/187326-my-slaaneshi-aspiring-champion/#findComment-2217122 Share on other sites
The Nephilim
If you've not started yet, I'd offset the color scheme with maybe a bright scorpion green. nirvasch
Hmm what about jade green + more 'sparkling' and warm green ? Scorpion green is kinda too cold for this colour scheme I believe Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/187326-my-slaaneshi-aspiring-champion/#findComment-2217189 Share on other sites
The Nephilim
I think the jade would look better out of the two. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/187326-my-slaaneshi-aspiring-champion/#findComment-2217193 Share on other sites
Muzza
Green or silver would look good for the tubes in my opinion. May I ask where the head is from? Reminds me abit of a ninja lol. nirvasch
WFB chaos warrior plastic kit :) I'll try rusy silver/iron - if it won't do it will change to green, or maybe not ? - Starting to paint in 2 hours , so we'll see :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/187326-my-slaaneshi-aspiring-champion/#findComment-2217212 Share on other sites
ShinyRhino
Nice work, though I do wish the hooves were a tad longer. He looks like he'd have some really poor balance, and wouldn't be able to run much. Paint work is top-notch. Typical Cricket
It's looking great! I'm really digging that shoulder pad with the long tongue as well. smallvictory
I love the whole concept you have got here. The tongue wrapping around the arm, the fantasy helm, the hooves, the wild paint scheme. This isn't your average Champion, He has style. Hang in there with the torture we put ourselves through to finish painting a project. Focus. Guyver3x
It's always best to take time, especially with something of this quality. What colour are you planning to do the force weapon?
