Tannen
So got my two dreads almost ready and looking in the codex on the knee guard or whatever its called. Its painted red white black in the codex and both having similar markings. are those standard colors for dreads or should it not be wolf guard: yellow black? Should all dreads in the army should have the same pattern? Anyone that knows more about this? ;) :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/187565-dred-markings/ Share on other sites
hendrik
it's up the dread for himself to choose:) it can be the symbol his own wolf lord had, it can be his own personal heraldry. do with it what you want. for the sake of it it could even contain a pin up picture like on those WWII airplanes;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/187565-dred-markings/#findComment-2219258 Share on other sites

Dark Bjoern
Most dreads prefer do keep the marking they had worn in life. Off my 4 painted dreads two have WG markings (both have AC/DCCW) and the other two have Long Fang markings (TLLC/ML) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/187565-dred-markings/#findComment-2219596 Share on other sites
