WIP- Grey Hunters from Harald Deathwolf's Great Company

I've just begun building my Great Company and have also finished my first 5 Grey Hunters. They were designed for Tabletop quality and as such, I've tried out a few new items. The most pleasing to me has been the Quick Shade Dip from Army Painter. All that I need to do with these 5 is apply the Great Company Decals I've printed up, and Coat the minis with a Matte Sealer to eliminate the Gloss and seal the decal. After that I'll base the squad. Let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance.

They look good, but I'd say there is a little to much dip in a few places. 2nd pic, 2nd guy from the right has a really big dark... eh... "dot" of colour/dip. It just looks like it is too much. Some similar stuff on the others, but if you clean them up a bit after dipping, they should be great!
I used my SLR to take these, and the Dip isn't as dark in person. The beakie marine has nice shading to the eye, but in the photo the flash made the head appear darker. Maybe once I decal base and matte it, the dip coat will be more muted.

I really like them. I'm not a fan of yellow in Grey Hunters. I honestly think GH should be down-to-earth and sombre like the eve of a mighty storm (getting carried away with myself here). Personally I think your colour scheme captures this mood brilliantly.

Great job. keep it up and post more pics. :)

Edit: Never actually saw models shaded with 'Quick Shade Dip'. Looks like I have t try it out.

This is the first time I've used the dip and I am extremely pleased. The matte clearcoat will eliminate the shine, but I'm going to put my great company markings on first then clearcoat the models.

For Deathwolf's great company, I wanted to get a darker and grittier tone for the models as his is the most feral of the great companies. I think this color enhances the red and definitely gives them that feral and wild appearance which has a warmer tone than the blue grey from the eavy metal team.
