13skullz
Well, as I believe I stated a while back: I have a new army. The Thunderlords. I may have only told friends and not have shared with this site, but in any event, I have had a revelation. I believe that I am most definitely NOT a gamer, so I feel that means I should spend large amounts of time on converting and painting. With that said, I'm headed to my local hobby shop (Gamescape San Francisco) tomorrow (for some Magic: The Gathering action, no less... :P ) and am probably going to get some new GOOD glue and a squad of marines that I'm going to convert to the highest quality I can muster, and then paint to my absolute highest standard. I have a feeling that this single squad will take me about... two months to complete. As a matter of fact, I am going to set myself a challenge. I honestly should be focusing on raising my grade-point-average, but it's Winter Break. Come on. So I'm going to set my self this challenge, and present it in the form of contract: I, 7skullz, promise to my fellow BnC brothers and to myself that I will complete, in two months' time, one full tactical squad of Thunderlords Space Marines, converted and kitbashed, repositioned and made overall-more-badass, then painted to the highest standard I possess. This I swear to you, ad to myself. I shall not fail with the Emperor as my guide. Now, I can use this thread as a starting point and go on from there as a project log. Hooah. Now let's go get... some sleep so I can get started!
