the jimster
ok so i have been thinking what i can mount my troops in and my tacticle sqauds will be 6 man each and i know the obvious would seem to give them a razor back each but just on a quick note would it be possible to place 2 of my tacticle squads (thats 12 models) in a redeemer?? Frosty the Pyro
Also six man tac squads cannot get heavy/special weapons, you gain more from having 10 man squads. On the money point, buy razorbacks, dont glue on the turret, then it can be a rhino if you need buy taking the turret off the model. Sgt. Farney
The point of a six man tac. squad is just to men and bolters into place you cant have an assault weapon without ten guys and that sucks but there is no need for a heavy gunner in some squads that need to move.. the restriction of not getting to move and shoot gave me the idea to put 1 meltagun in my drop pod tac. squad + the Sgt.'s combi melta... now you have 2 shots to take out vehicles and the other 8 bolters on rapid fire behind enemy lines can just do whatever they like!
