I will be scrapping the icon and staff and replacing with a custom one as this one is too large in the end.... Ill be doing it along the same lines as the one on the chaos lord from dawn of war.... Maybe a sculpt? I like him, though I think he should get a completely bare head, I think the re breather would keep him from orating effectively :P. I like him though, nice and simple. I love the pose you're going for with the model, if you pull it off well it'll look amazing. Not sure if you'll have seen it or not, but have you seen this? It's very similar to the Accursed Crozius you're trying to make, it might serve as an inspiration or something! Starks333 Posted December 26, 2009 Author Share Posted December 26, 2009 i think i may do three rings for the mace, see how it looks i think the head will work, i may modify it however, i will see as things progress how it shapes up I just got to toronto, working on stuff tommorow with DV8, gaming sunday, then working with different friends(Vtraxx and Malleus->slayer sword winner this past year!) on monday and tuesday, should be fun, and yield some more interesting results! It's very similar to the Accursed Crozius you're trying to make, it might serve as an inspiration or something! I think that's exactly what he was doing with his crozius, but the spines are just far too large, especially for a power armored dude. It looks gigantic with the terminator lord. Starks333 Posted January 10, 2010 Author Share Posted January 10, 2010 the head should fit in once paint hits it.."should" ;) (i have no spare heads anyways) so ive changed up the weapon a bit, going for a bit more original....instead i have an inner ring which spins around inside, and inside that will be an orb...there will be teeth or something on the inner ring to cause pain i had the butt end blade done but i broke the tip while finishing it so i have to fix that and add a bit to the joint where it attaches....i still need to do a bit of work behind the arms to make the robes go into the arms better....however im just waiting on the orb, some small touch ups and hes ready to go...lots of things i would change, but thats the problem with working with GW stock figures! http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll18/BionicCow/IMG_1066.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll18/BionicCow/IMG_1067.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
