Aside from maybe cleaning up the blue on the left shoulder I'd say it's beautiful, and I'd love to see this force when it hits the tables. I'm thinking it might be a step too far with the blue. Of course, it still needs to fit with the rest of your army so it will depend on how he looks with his buddies. What did you use on the armour? I like the blue, although..I dunno...just stands out a bit to me, probably personal taste though. As for the scheme the blue is supposed to be that bright, and in fact the bronze is supposed to be brighter. I prefer a dark, dirty look for the bronze though. As for the eyes, I have picked them out. Because of the way the model sits however you have to tilt him back to see it. Cadarn the armor is a basecoat of black, a thinned coat of Brazen brass then a very heavy Badab black wash, followed by two thinned coats of Brazen Brass. Luku Posted December 24, 2009 Share Posted December 24, 2009 Very nice work, I only have one critique, from what I can tell your bone/white colors are a tad thick and lumpy...perhaps try several watered down coats rather then one or two thick ones?
