Battle-Brother Wags
Obviously I have another thread in which I am trying to write my own codex for my personal Great Company of Space Wolves. The 13th company fluff and unit rules would probably be helpful as I see my wolves being somewhat of a merger of the two main codexes. Unfortunately I haven't got a clue where to find the Eye of Terror campaign book. I've been told it is free as a pdf on the GW site but I've looked that sucker over and used there search function and all that and I can't find it. Can anyone provide a link that will take me to a pdf if it is indeed free? And I'm sorry but I did try the search function here on the B&C as well but everything I entered either came up with no hits or EVERY hit . . . my search skills are . . . well, I pretty much suck in general, I guess :-) Thanks for the help! By the by, if anyone wants to use this thread as a general depository for their knowledge of wulfen fluff, that'd be pretty helpful, too! Thanks! Wildfire
I believe you've been misinformed. I don't think the Eye of Terror campaign book is available on pdf. I think the rules section for the 13th company was available at one time, but as it is no longer legal for play it may have been removed. Lord Rao
The fluff on the 13th Co. wasn't so much in the EoT book as it was in a White Dwarf that came out around that time. You'll have better luck searching for that. I'll have a look through my collection and see if I can find it. Max_Dammit
You'll have to go troug Ebay or old retail stores to get your hands on it. And remember, No asking or offering PDF files Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/188199-eye-of-terror-13th-company-codex/#findComment-2227273 Share on other sites
Valerian
And remember, No asking or offering PDF files Max, Surely that B&C rule only applies to illegal scans of books into .pdf files that are a copyright infringement, and not to .pdf documents that are/were provided by GW themselves for intentional download by the players. SamaNagol
Website owners live in fear of letters from 'Legal Departments'. I can only assume it is because they do not have the funds to even entertain legal action, no matter how non-existent the case could be. When Librarium online is getting threatening letters for using a completely original design of an aquila, you get an idea of how asinine Games Workshop can be as a company. Kurgan the Lurker
Unfrotunately, unless the file explicitly states that you can reproduce it then posting links to a download is still a no-no. Doesn't matter if GW gave it away free at one time or not. They aren't now. They can also do whatever the hell they want with their IP, we can't. If they were you'd be more than welcome to link to the GW site for people to download it of course. Our rules are what they are to protect this site and you are expected to follow them.
