DeffWolf
If someone could verify this as I'm unsure on whether they are allowed in them or not that would be great. Hope you guys had a good christmas! Deff Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/188225-sw-terminators-in-drop-pods/ Share on other sites
Sarapham
Yes Terminators are allowed in a drop pod, up to 5 of them as they take 2 seats each. Brother Gabe
I am pretty sure you can have up to five of them in a drop pod. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/188225-sw-terminators-in-drop-pods/#findComment-2227258 Share on other sites
Dewi Sant
Yeah, the way I read it TDA takes up twice the space as PA. So that's room for 5 in a Drop Pod. Night Runner
You absolutely can. In the drop pod section of the C:SW it states that dp can carry 10 infantry models or 1 dread. Under the armour section it clearly states that for transport purposes termies take up two slots instead of one (w.r.t. infantry which termies are), but cannot ride in Rhinos and Razorbacks due to their bulk. SamaNagol
I just want to know why Space Wolves cannot have Locator Beacons. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/188225-sw-terminators-in-drop-pods/#findComment-2227789 Share on other sites
Grey Mage
I just want to know why Space Wolves cannot have Locator Beacons. We do- see the ragnar books- its still just rather risky to teleport chapter relics into battle. SamaNagol
Ragnar books are about as accurate as me asking my godson to paint a space marine with his fingers. And Locator Beacons work on Drop Pods too. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/188225-sw-terminators-in-drop-pods/#findComment-2227809 Share on other sites

SamaNagol
Yeh, they would have been nice for Drop Pod assaults! You know, those things we are meant to use because they are more reliable than teleporting..... just without those pesky beacon wotsits that make your Deep Striking accurate ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/188225-sw-terminators-in-drop-pods/#findComment-2227900 Share on other sites

Sarapham
Codex Space marines get 10 man pods like everyone else it was a miss print on GW Its an error but its still what they officially can have until their next codex come out. Shaun Carlin
Space wolve drop pods make more sense then seeing as the model only has 10 harnesses, don't get me wrong i love the increased capacity but nothing beats common sense Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/188225-sw-terminators-in-drop-pods/#findComment-2228305 Share on other sites

commander alexander
Does anyone know if you can take two drop pods so you can DP a full wolf guard unit? Shaun Carlin
I play Ultramarines mainly and I have a few times put a 10 man unit into a pod and then a character joining them, at the back of my head im thinking "how did they fit?" but then I remind myself has anyone fit 5 terminators into a landraider? or more than 5 in the case of the crusader? so I tell myself suck it up princess and get on with the game Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/188225-sw-terminators-in-drop-pods/#findComment-2228505 Share on other sites
stinkenheim
@ commander alexander no you can't take two drop pods for a single unit. its one drop pod and then send the extra models off to lead other packs leaving you the 5 termies for it or an empty pod dropping. Valerian
isnt the transport capacity 12 not 10? or is that codex marines?if its 12 that means you could get a terminator unit and a wolf lord or somthing As already stated, ours hold 10, not 12, regular PA models or up to 5 Terminator models. However, we can still put a unit of Terminator Wolf Guard and attached Wolf Lord in a Pod, as we do not have a minimum requirement for 5 Terminators in a squad like codex Marines do.
