Templars + wip Neophytes

Hi folks.

well, after a year of (very) on and off painting, I've finally got 18 fully painted marines to my name. these are the first models i've painted in about 6 years, and while there's alot of room for improvement, overall i'm really happy with how they came out. Here's a few pics; any advice/tips would be very much appreciated!

And here's a few WIP shots of my Neophytes:

The undercoat came out fine with these but the picture makes it look way too thick.

Lastly, my WIP Emperors Champion:

Thanks! i wanted to give them a more historical Knightly feel, although i'm not sure if my colour scheme will look good with vehicles, might seem a bit too shiny! For the neophytes i plan to make the next bunch closer to regular marine scouts, to show them being further along their training than my current ones. I really like using the pig iron gas mask heads, i think they go really well with the flagellant bodies. As for rules, A GW staff member suggested using the Space codex rules as opposed to the BT one, but i'm not so sure about this, are BT particularly worse off in 5th edition?
