archonbrujah
Hello all, tried and failed at search, so I thought I'd ask (mods please move if this better belongs in a different forum) how do you all model or paint your characters with the mark of the wulfen? Do you sue the 13th legion wulfen models, or just paint some tattoos? something in between? also, how do you find having a grey hunter with the mark helps the unit? or a lone wolf? Thanks for any help, looking to hove some fun with the army again, one of my old favorites. Freman Bloodglaive
I'd say facial markings (red or blue) would be an adequate way of representing the brother afflicted with the curse of the Wulfen. Still not sure about taking one though. My wolves are made up of those who overcame the curse and haven't reverted. PS Tybrus has a very interesting take on the matter. commander alexander
I believe that GW represented theirs with red-brown markings on his face, like birthmarks so to speak. Also, i will be modelling mine with the special weapons (melta ect.) so that I can keep the fearsome shooting and cc on one model, dont know if anyone else has thought to do so which I think you should, it makes sense. Valerian
I had a thread on this back when the codex first came out. Bulweih
I use the wulfen models. There's one of them who can actually have a Jumppack! B) -Just love the old models. The option of giving the mark to the melter marine is possible and has its Pro's but in my opinion it's a little against the fluff. But as we wolves are all a little different, go ahead. A tattoo kind of like those on dwarfslayers should look good. Night Runner
Here's another option for modelling MOTW. Personally I don't like them, but if you change their legs with those of SM they should work out. http://www.dwarftales.com/galleries/5 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/188721-modelingpainting-mark-of-the-wulfen/#findComment-2257037 Share on other sites
Niiai
I saw one yesterday that had two chainswords. That worked pretty well for us. (We could tell him apart and he looked cray.) Or you could give him no weaponds. That would work to. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/188721-modelingpainting-mark-of-the-wulfen/#findComment-2257125 Share on other sites
