Thanks guys. Humbled by your kind words. :-)

I've been working on a SW commission of 10 minitures. I've finished the first one, Canis, for your viewing pleasure. There will be more to follow over the coming days.

fantastic painting especially the red on the cloak :-)

BUT.... that mini :-( its a bloody awful wolf GW seem to be making some BIG screw ups a lately what with this and the beastmen....

Cheers Davey. I've worked hard on Canis. I agree with the figure. So many great bits on it but the wolf as a whole is just not right.

Another Space Wolves Wolf Guard finished for a commission. 4 more to come.

That one looks pretty good, although I think that the golden parts (save for the aquila) look a little thick in comparison to the rest of the model.

Yea, I see what you mean. It is a commission so am at the behest of my client.

  • 3 weeks later...

Wolf Guard number 2 from one of my current commission.

that yellow is amazing

also how do you do your snow? tutorial???

Cheers. ;-)

It's pretty straight forward to do snow.

Useing GW's snow effect basing material I mix it with PVA to make a thick paste and then literally paint it on.

Hope that helps.

Excellent work. Especially the poses and the pale flesh tone.

Cheers mate.

Here is another I finished today.

Due to photobucket being irritating with it's low (10mb) upload limit I'm in the process of swapping over to Flickr. All of the pictures I've posted before will be visible from the 8th April onwards.

Anyway, latest finished piece is a commission of Pedro but converted into a Relictors Chapter Master.

He looks great. I particularly like all the weathering and dusty boots. The red purity seal thing on his shoulder is also a very nice touch and a bit different from they typical parchment color. Really compliments the grey nicely.

Thanks mate. I'm particulary happy with 'Pedrictor'. Colour theory is really useful for coherant colours on figures.

Latest addition is yet another SW for the large commission I'm working on at the moment.

Last Terminator for this commission. Just 4 HQ choices to do.

Also a couple of pics of the completed pieces all together.
