WIP Blood Claw with axe.

Hail, my fellow wolf brothers.

I've now gotten the hang of posting pictures. So I would like to hear what my kindred thinks. All of my SW are carrying axes, hammers and swords, but mostly axes. Big note is that it might look done, but I'm not feeling done with it. I also know about the pin in his left foot, but that happened after I started painting and I haven't fixed it.

Have at it boys!

EDIT: I'm going to play Kjarl Grimbloods Great Company, so the wolf symbol on his left shulder is the Fire Wolf.

Step 1: 1:1:1 Basecoat mix of Kommando Khaki, Shadow Grey and Space Wolves Grey.

Step 2: 1:1 mix of Shadow Grey and Scorched Brown was carefully brushed into the recesses between the armour sections.

Step 3: 2:1:1 Space Wolves Grey, Shadow Grey and Kommando Khaki was applied towards the edges of the armour.

Step 4: Pure Space Wolves Grey was worked onto the edges of the armour.

Step 5: Devlan Mud was washed into the recesses.

Step 6: A final highlight using 1:1 mix of Space Wolves Grey and Skull White was applied, with a stronger application on the top edges.

Great paint job. He came out very fearsome looking and the posing and painted face accentuate this all the more. I especially like the pack marking. The only thing that doesn't look right is the red handle axe. Maybe some bronze and boltgun metal might break up all the red. But that's just an opinion not a critique. It doesn't take anything away from the excellent paint job. Congrats. Keep it up and hope to see more pics. :D
