A true-scaled DiY army named the Sons of Volturi. Anyways on to the pictures! I've been spending most of the day painting a Chaplain my boyfriend gifted me! (technically he's not true-scaled but he's pretty big anyway!!) Here he is: I'm proud of this guy, my first marine who looks important :P (not just bolter boyos). For bonus here's an assault marine who is the test mini for the armys paint scheme. Not much I can fault the painting on. Perhaps defining the leather handle on the Crozius Arcanum. Try some highlighting and washes on it, or something. The metallics could do with a few highlights too. Other then that, I expect this will turn out to be a fantastic looking army. Can't wait for more updates.
