Asrech Posted January 7, 2010 Share Posted January 7, 2010 Now this could turn out good! *couch*Die heretic scum*cough* I like that you went the extra mile to add the cables to the P-fist, same thing I did to my scout sergeant with fist, since the size of the fist is so muh bigger than standard it would look like it could go with some extre juice. My only two questions/points are regarding to NL fluff, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they a bit like ravenguard; infiltrate, sneaky, sabotage etc, but with more energy put on terror effect? Cause if so a bigger-than-your-mother power fist might be to a disadvantage. Then again the terror effect would compensate for that :D And secondly that it might look a tad better if you twist the claw a bit so the "tip" is pointing more forward or even upward, since right now his arm is a little too much of an downwards going arch ( might very wel l just be the pic though ). Any plans for the base? Not much space, but if you can put some extra lovin' into it that would really make the entire model have more Oomph! Loken86 Posted January 7, 2010 Author Share Posted January 7, 2010 @Terminatorinhell i like the idea of the IW head but i dont have any :D might be worth getting some when the misses isint holding my wallet. @Alexander Fogh Pedersen thanks mate(love the work on the Ares by the way) i don't Know about the base yet i might do it as a city style what do you think. you are correct about the fluff but this guy lost his sword arm to the nob who owned the claw. il post the fluff once ive finished it lol Also il take a look at repositioning(sp) the arm so the claw is more square. Asrech Posted January 7, 2010 Share Posted January 7, 2010 Well city style on the base could give you the chanse to do some sneaking through the alleys kinda style on some stuff, whereas grass/jungle/forests it's more camo etc.So I'd say it depends on your fluff and what theme you think would suit your building and painting style the best. But citý is a good solid option, looks good and you can do A LOT with it. You take my weapon? Fine *rip* then I take yours! *krunch*.... I like it! (Painting the second layer of highlights on the black right now.. it is hell.. too many angles ::P: ) Good, cause as it is he looks a little to heavy on one side and with the pose it looks a bit like he's trying not to fall over. Drudge Dreadnought Posted January 11, 2010 Share Posted January 11, 2010 The bolter arm swung so far back doesn't look right. It also makes the chain far too gravity defying. The conversions are solid and I like the overall kit-bashed look, infiltrators behind enemy lines are going to need some extra goodies for the trip :devil: The only thing I'm not sure about is the terminator base for the spec weapon... I think the large base works well for HQ units, and possibly pimped out sergeants, but just a spec weapon I think it will hamper your game too much, since it does make quite the difference gaming wise. Going between two pieces of terrain, into combat, disembarking a vehicle etc etc. The kneeling/crouching plasma gunner got a nice pose, hunched but still dynamic :P Keep 'em coming!
