plaguewolf
First I must explain that I dont mean Hate as in... hate  Hate (or Hati) is the name of a wolf that is chasing the moon to the end of the world in the norse mythology. Hate's brother is Skoll, he chases the sun. they are both sons of Fenrisulven (the fenriswolf). now that said... I want to make a droppod army that is dark, like midnight blue. somthing like this: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d183/plaguewolf/spacemarine.jpg Is it a good color or is it to much "crimson fist"? I have tought of some fluff that i will post here when it finished.. and a painted Grey hunter. Beef
insert 'Usual your army your colour bit here; Personally I like the older darker purple SW from 2nd edition, yours might be a tad to dark personally could you lighten it a bit? Decoy
My Original Space Wolves (prior to going 13th) used almost the exact same color scheme. It works, but it leads to a lot of folk wondering what army you're playing if it's not properly Wolfitized. Come to think of it, minus the eye color and a shade of blue, that's the exact same color scheme... Hehe! Great minds think alike, it seems. Vlk
To me, it indeed seems far too Crimson-Fisty. But I guess that could be helped with some wolfy stuff. And maybe you could consider changing the name to the Sons of Hati so that you don't have to explain that Hate/Hati thing all the time. When I saw the title, I thought it was some Khorne version of the Wolves. plaguewolf
Come to think of it, minus the eye color and a shade of blue, that's the exact same color scheme... Hehe! Great minds think alike, it seems. lets take over the world, you start over there and i over here, we meet in the middle. ;) To me, it indeed seems far too Crimson-Fisty. But I guess that could be helped with some wolfy stuff. And maybe you could consider changing the name to the Sons of Hati so that you don't have to explain that Hate/Hati thing all the time. When I saw the title, I thought it was some Khorne version of the Wolves. It will be the sons of Hate, in swedish it is pronounce diffrent, hard to explain how, but diffrent. :) and Hate is just a name it dosent mean anything. In the fluff of my sons of Hate I will use some swedish names and word, for example they come from the village Ulvsta, Ulvsta is oldswedish and mean wolfstown or wolfvillage. Ulvsta is on the island of Järvsö, Järvsö mean wolverineisland or Island of the wolverine. both Järvsö and Ulvsta exist in sweden, its my hometown. now im going to buy some paint and maybe post pictures tonight, and we will se if it is too "crimson fisty" Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189119-my-sons-of-hate/#findComment-2240730 Share on other sites
