Thanks. Simply done with some "extra armour" panels made from spare parts of a land speeder that was shot down and landed in my bits box and some Chaos Warrior shields and a spare front panel and head from the Terminator Lord.

I wasn't sure if it'd work either but I like what I did with the normal Imperial Dread into a Berzerker Dread. Plus, I hate the lead toaster we have to try and make something of.

Head is from the Chaos Terminator Lord pack, as is the chest plate/arch over head (i'm sure there is a technical name for it but it escapes me after the worst nights sleep ever). It was mounted with green stuff - but make sure you slip a piece of plastic down the back of where the normal chest plate would go or you will spend a fortune in green stuff while you fill the whole Dread...

Shields are from an old Chaos Warrior pack - thought that they added something "chaosy" to the extra armour. Glad you like them.

Updates...

Thanks ThirtySixNights, I have a few more pressing projects but I shall look at putting a tutorial together sometime soon. I do like the Iron Clad as a Dread, and was thinking of another conversion of one for a Death Guard/PM Dread. That may go up the list for a tutorial, but it's easily done. Will do one asap for you all... anyone got £25 lying around? :D

Ahaha. What a wonder world to live in- paid £25 for a tutorial...

Anyhoo, good work here. The colours are coming out.

Oh I know, tell me about it. My ex's brother used to paint for Mongoose and wanted to charge me a fortune for a few simple hints and tips but his parents told him to "play nicely"! All I'd want is another Iron Clad and I'd do it.

And thanks for the props, Lysander. I've really enjoyed this one. I prefer the shape and style of it, to obviously the CSM Dread and even the base Loyalist Dread. Just little things like the knee pads/leg covers, the frag launchers (which I only put on for the ability to use as "extra armour" after poorly filing down the actual launchers) for the trim, the arms etc. It is just a really nice model to play around with and tweak. Glad you like it.

Nothing much to post as yet Lysander, unless you count putting the smoke launcher on top haha. The trophy rack and combi bolter are all that's left to finish off this fella. They are well on the way though and will post asap. Hopefully by Sunday if I don't get sidetracked by Termie Lords, Chosen Alphas, Word Bearers, Possessed, Berzerker Termies, Oblits or anything else on the table... Should probably post some pics of some of them all too...

Glad you like this though. :)
