OK, just finished this guy and the painting shall start some time later this year.

My only nag about this guy is that his pose is slightly static. I thought about adding a flowing cape on hi back and I still might do so but I just fear my GS skills are too terrible.

so here he is.

C&C welcome. bear in mind I cannot change the pose he's in and yes, I will drill his gun before painting

The pose is great: it actually looks like he's weighing the weight of his sword/lance against that of his aiming arm. I'd leave a cloak off, it'd push the model too far into the realm of OTT fantasy, and this guy is evidently a no-frills fighter.

Yeah leave the cape of, he looks like a guy who actually means business!

I agree that the pose is quite good. The spear offsets the bolter very well. I would suggest adding something to the spear though as it looks a little too plain. Maybe a purity seal or strip of cloth where the blade meets the shaft. That would be relatively simple to make and would add some character to the weapon.
