ChainsawDR
Hi all, I know that swiftclaws have the relentless rule thanks to the Space Marine bike - does this mean a swiftclaw group can rapid fire in the shooting phase and then charge in the assault phase? Thanks in advance ChainsawDR Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189363-swiftclaws-rapid-fire-assault/ Share on other sites

Thanks in advance ChainsawDR but remember the headstrong rule unless a WG or an IC is with them they cannot shoot and then assault. Make sure you have either with them if you want to shoot then assault. Make sure you have either with them if you want to shoot then assault. Why can't they shoot then assault? Check the new FAQ release. They can shoot and assault without a leader. They only have to assault when possible in the assault phase. If I shoot enemy models and by the end of the shooting phase, the squad I shot at was now out of assault range, then it is not possible to assault and therefore I do not have to assault. Tell me where it says that, it's only talking about Ragnar's ability to run and shoot. Here's the quote: Q. Can units that Ragnar Blackmane has joined run in the Shooting phase or fire weapons that would prevent them from launching an assault in the following Assault Phase? A. Yes, they may. Insane Bravado states that they must assault only ‘if possible’. If it is not possible because of the unit's actions in the Shooting phase or some other reason, then they simply do not assault. I don't see anywhere else in the faq that says that Blood Claw units (including bike and assault pack) can shoot within 6in of the enemy. Please quote in the FAQ that says otherwise. Busby
And what does the headstrong say? Within 6 inches right? Ah, er disregard me, I was thinking Swiftclaws had a 12 inch charge range Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189363-swiftclaws-rapid-fire-assault/#findComment-2242267 Share on other sites
