Rune Priest Ridcully
This is more on humour: pre heresy Sanguinius and Fulgrim doing a duet, "I am so pretty, I am so pretty" and for Isstvan, Toom Lehrer's "We'll all go together", for Fulgrim "Masochism Tango" and Monty Pythons "kights of the round table" for the Primarchs and marines in general, also Fulgrim could have anything of Lady Gaga's, post heresy he is basically a multiarmed, daemonic snake Lady Gaga. Calgar 2.0
Well, he killed his boyfriend Ferrus Mannus, like Lady Gaga in the Paparazzi music video. I should not know that. Rune Priest Ridcully
Don't worry Calgar 2.0, I presume you know of them the same way I do, channel hopping and being unlucky anough to see one. Also just realised I accidentaly but an extra "O" in Tom Lehrer. "Empire of future" by Silent force perhaps for the Emperor, entombed on the throne, watching as the galaxy goes down the plug hole. Nomus Sardauk
Lorgar - Inside the Fire by Disturbed, considering Lorgar (with the aid of his flunkie Erebus) corrupted Horus I think Lorgar could be considered to play a part like that of the Devil in the song. As the Devil whispers to David Draiman to give in to despair and kill himself so does Lorgar influence Horus to renounce the Emperor and turn to Chaos. The lyrics fit as well, "take your place inside the Fire" could be thought of as Horus taking his place as the Dark God's chosen, the fire part being in hell and amongst the damned. "Take the word of one immortal" could be refering to Lorgar himself as he became a daemon prince (I think) after the heresy. Bigger-than-Jesus
How about Prayer by Disturbed for Lorgar? In all fairness anything from Believe would work for him, but that song fits like a glove. And I'd say The curse rather than 10,000 fist for Dorn. Edit: The path to decay by Sirenia might work for Mortarion Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189439-which-song-fits-which-primarch/page/7/#findComment-2437194 Share on other sites

hummus
dont know if its been mentioned for For Konrad Curze, it has to be hurt, the johny cash version, the song seems to basically be written about him, while he's reflecting on the Heresy, waiting for M'Shen to kill him from reading soul hunter I envision him speaking to Talos in these lyrics: What have I become My sweetest friend Everyone I know goes away In the end And you could have it all My empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt And his possible schitzophrenic tendencies are touched on here: I wear this crown of thorns Upon my liar's chair Full of broken thoughts I cannot repair Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189439-which-song-fits-which-primarch/page/7/#findComment-2446394 Share on other sites

Perrin
Cant think of any at the moment so im jst going to agree with hummus about Hurt for Curze. Actually, maybe Boulavard of Broken Dreams - Green Day for the Emperor, or the Lion when he is described as being aloof from everyone around him. I think it could fit with Lorgar as well when he is searching for someone to worship. Cold Fire
Not really for a Primarch more a situation, but at the last showdown between Horus and The Emperor, Reckoning by Killswitch Engage had to be playing in the background! "You are no god to me This is a reckoning You are nothing to me This is a reckoning" Not to mention the killer guitar riffs scream "clash of giants". Wrath of Terra
We're all idiots. 7 pages in and no-one has thought to mention this for Russ and The Rout; Wolves Epic Fail for all of us for not thinking of it sooner :-/ EDIT; The more I think about it the more Machinehead songs suit for various Primacrchs/Legions. In a delicious cosmic irony the lyrics for Imperium actually make a good :cuss you to the Imperium from say a Chaos marine/cultist. Bulldozer in a left-field choice for Angron maybe since I don't think it mentions blood anywhere? But it sure is a fight song! All In Your Head for Kurze :D And perhaps the absolutely epic Halo to sum up the anti-religion vibe of the 30k pre-heresy Imperium? Will think of more later :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189439-which-song-fits-which-primarch/page/7/#findComment-2719990 Share on other sites
