commander alexander
I think the your ideas of how to use him will be best for you, as you know how you play, and what against. BUT, I will say that a plasma pistol on a rune priest is redundant if you can take a power like living lightning and the chooser is of limited use. Grey Mage
Why spend that many points on a chracter without an invulnerable save? I see you have taken it down quite a bit from the 215, but stil... for 215 may as well just splurge and take njal for 30 points more. And you would have such a better charceter. Another bit, no plasma pistol! He will be dishing punishment out with his psychic powers. No need fot that. I consider a Plasmapistol when Im going Master of Runes- Stormcaller and Tempests Wrath. Vassakov
Ok, if you are going to drop 200+ points on a Priest, go for Njal. End of conversation. Otherwise, as pointed out the only time that MotR is very useful is if you take a shooting power + Stormcaller, or plan to shoot then use the Runic Weapon. Spacefrisian
If its 200+ why not take 2 then 1 Runepriest with Meltabomb 1 Runepriest with Wolftail Now you can select 4 powers divided over 2 models.
