CainTheHunter
Oh, I love this discussion :). Let's make things even more complicated - let's say IC who joins is RP with Master of Runes and two shooting powers :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189630-long-fangs-5-man-unit-or-6/page/2/#findComment-2247251 Share on other sites
Grey Mage
Changes nothing at all. Why do you bring it up? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189630-long-fangs-5-man-unit-or-6/page/2/#findComment-2247338 Share on other sites
antique_nova
it's pretty obvious to me that you can have 5 guys with special weapons and one squad leader. CainTheHunter
Well can he shoot at two different targets then, or one must be the same, which is shot at by some of LFs? antique_nova
he cannot split fire. The fire control rule is directed at the orginal members of the squad. So it makes sense that rune priest cannot fire at two targets. thanks antique_nova Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189630-long-fangs-5-man-unit-or-6/page/2/#findComment-2247354 Share on other sites
Oldenhaller
Unfortunately not - the psykers are only allowed to use one psychic shooting attack in the same ways other models have the ability to only fire one gun. The master of runes overrides the ability to use one psychic power per turn, not the rule of only one psychic shooting attack ~O Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189630-long-fangs-5-man-unit-or-6/page/2/#findComment-2247355 Share on other sites
nurglespuss
Exactly Oldenhaller :) as for the multiple Independent Characters and a longfang squad, well then yes, I would say that the independent characters, plus at lease one squad member, must fire at one target (call it the primary in this instance) and the rest of the squad may fire at a seperate target. You couldn't have 1 independent character fire with half of the squad, and a second independent character fire with the other half, as independent character aren't able to split fire. dizzy-xc
Ok, so when the LFPL dies, the rest of the squad whether or not it has IC's WG, etc., can no longer split fire?
