Space wolves (fluff wise now) have the potential of the 13th company turning up to help,

 

Okay now that would be cool,

 

SM Player: "Haha my Legion of the Damned will destroy you... uhh what are those crazy wolf looking guys that just deep-striked?"

SW Player: "Oh these, they are my 13th company, basically imagine Space Wolves and Legion of the Damned fused together and given Mark of the Wulfen."

SM Player: "Oh crap....."

Only Space Wolves should know about these, so it should go something like this;

 

SM Player: "Haha my Legion of the Damned will destroy you... uhh what are those crazy wolf looking guys that just deep-striked?"

SW Player: "Just the 13th Company"

SM Player: "The 13th what? Surly there not legal, What, what are they doing?"

SW Player: "I told them there was a good fight and free food"

SM Player: "My Legion of the Damned, what have they done to them? No No...."

SW Payer: "Don't worry, the 13th will get the rest of them when they go back to the warp"

SM Player: "But, but....."

Hi BarmyAndy, pay it no heed. Tis the very unforutunate nature of a very impersonal medium. Black on white text is horribly, well, black and white, austere and 'in your face' at times.

 

What 'some' posters feel is an acceptible response, funny-sarcastic reply, joke, or cheeky number, can instead come accross to the reader as a brass-ringed knuckle-duster aime squarely at your self confidence. Most of the time its not meant that way.

 

That is not to say that 'some' posters aren't just inherently rude or overtly-aggressive, that may be exactly what they are. The problem with this level of 'freedom of speech [typing]' is that it really removes posters own personal boundaries, or those boundaries put in place by 'normal' society. Thus debates or arguments, or discussions, can really draw out subjects, get on peoples nerves, and feel quite personal. However, don't intereperet this as 'the bare faced truth' its not, it just people not thinking before they type.

Well, i wasnt expecting the snarky replies, but nevermind.

 

Thanks for the actual replies that covered the subject, its helped. I only asked as the LOTD show up for the SM, doesnt matter what chapter. I was thinking not including them in the SW codex was just an oversight (actually i was more hoping). I bought every single model so far, and now cant use them! Will have to convince my opponents to let me :)
