Magnetising wolf guard

i got some great results with 1/32" magnets. I put three in each arm (which makes 12 total: 3 per arm, 3 per torso side). The trick is finding the right sized drill bit for your pin vice. I also use superglue gel, its easier to manage than the pure liquid stuff. I put a dab in each hole and then insert the magnets. finish it off by pushing the magnets flush with the surface. Note on "insertion" (ha ha): use a small stack of the tiny magnets, and then push one into the hole (gigity) then bend the stack and pull it away from the model, leaving the single magnet behind.

glad there's another family guy fan out there. i hope my previous reply helped. i'll try to keep watching this thread to see if you have any other questions i can help with. i also magnetize my vehicles, but that requires 1/16 and 3/16 magnets. same principles as before.

Hello fellow wolfs.

Just thought I would offer a piece of advice on magnetizing arms.

I realized that if I magnetized my wolf guard and specials weapons I would be lacking quite a few shoulder pads.

So I used 1x1 mm magnets (tiny tiny) in the outside of the of the shoulder part of the arm and inside the shoulder pads. The shoulder pads are not quite deep enough to hold the magnets but you cant see it since it is inside the shoulder pad against the arm.

Works like a charm and saves me having to get a bunch of extra shoulder pads.

Just thought this might be usefull, hope your magnetizing works out. :)
