Ragnar Blood Giver
is it me brothers.. in the winter there is not enought light for painting. (I hate artificial light) and in the summer my paints dry up as quickly as I use them... so for me I think the best painting months of the year are spring/autum.. enought light and not hot enought too dry out my paints. is it me..? SgtTelion
I will agree, getting enough light can be a nightmare. However, i recently discovered the Daylight Company, and bought the brigtest lamp they do. 165w of pure daylight.... ITS AMAZING! Far and away the best bit of kit i have found yet for this hobby. If you want a link or anything let me know :) Alex Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/189984-painting/#findComment-2250977 Share on other sites

SgtTelion
Hi! Here is a link for the lamp i bought. It has truly revolutionised my painting. The best thing is, when your in the poor light of a gaming room, your models look even better as your colour matching under this bulb is 100%. Try not to be put off by the price, its an investment and well worth it! http://uk.daylightcompany.com/home/product/?id=96 Enjoy! Heimdal
I want a link. Can I have a link? He even gave you a name of the company. Searching for it on Google took me less than three seconds. But since you ask "nicely" I`ll provide you with a link: Daylight Company As for the 165W, you`ll have to search for it. Skambankt
Well, thanks for the links guys, and sorry for the highjack of the thread Ragnar. Wintertime in Norway means little or no daylight at all after work, and its a pain. @Heimdal: Point taken.
