So does he look good or just meh? I will admit I jumped the gun a bit, as right now he has grass on the base, but I'm hoping you review the model itself not really the base (Oh and yes, I was able to get the fabled helmet for this guy =D that's why I want him to look good)

EDIT if it looks bad feel free to say so, but please add what you think makes it looks bad

Very nice work bud :D Always loved this model, and was always disapointed they never did more. And in plastic =P But you have really caught the essence of the figure :) the only point I'd make would be about the base. But as you have already stated your still working on that, I wont say anything except.. Keep up the awesome work and I look forward to more :)

Well someone has to be the unlucky one as well. I actually like the name choice.

Maybe he's just got a swollen leg and not at all in love with his mom. ;)

I like what I see so far by the way, but it would be nice to see bigger pictures in better lights please? ;)

Do you also paint Dark Crusaders?

Eh I decided on the name because I thought that his ankle was going to break since all the weight would be on that one foot, and since it means "Pierced ankles" or something like that, that's how it came to be. (and I was reading the play at the time)

I added a scale shot to a "normal" mini and then Eisenhorn I painted a while back. Oh he was a fun build. Not a lot of play in him. So if your a master modeler you can change him up a bit. but otherwise he's in that running pose. So small changes like head and some arm and hand movement, but not really leg and waist.

Oh and Pattison, I used to paint Dark Crusaders, then got bored with just black and red, black and red, and more black and red. But they are nice when you see a lot of them gathered

That's what I'm talking about, reaally niice. Congrats!

Well regarding the Dark Crusaders... maybe black and red is a simple colour scheme, but I've got 2 comments to it:

1) simple things are the hardest to do right (and the ones that deserve real perfection)

2) endurance and strong will is the key to miniature painting & to obtain 1)

:)
