WIP Njal Stormcaller

Recommended Posts

How did you paint the wolf furs? That's the bit I'm stuck on my Njal atm.

Drybrush Codex Grey over the whole pelt, hit the edges a bit far in with Fortress grey, then hit the tips of the paws and the edges of the pelt with skull white, all a light drybrush. If your drybrush was a bit too heavy wash with Badab black. Instant grey wolf.

Its the same with browns. Just work up from a darker color as a basecoat to the edges with a lighter color.

like your style of painting very much. nice and crisp ~smiles~ did you give Njals armour a wash? and what recipe for the armour are you using? i also like the fur very much. i cant really give much advice apart from maybe try more freehand work apart from that youre doing great. obviously you put alot of time and effort into these models as it shows. keep working!

i look forward to seeing more from you. ~hands you a tankard of Fenrisian Ale in celebration~

peace
