Death Wolf
Its not finished yet but I've been writing some fluff for my wolf scouts and decided to post it up so you guys could read it, when it finished I'll edit it and add on the end but for now I thought I'd share some of creativity with my Wolf Brothers. MOUNTAIN CHASE “How far away is the target Thengir? Alrik's getting bored by the looks of things.” “Would you shut up Girom? We may still be an hour away from the damn base but that great brute Gitkilla isn’t as dumb as he looks. Bloody Squig patrols all over these mountains… Alrik get back here!” Thengir said, Alrik stalking a small animal a little too far away from the rest of his squad. The Wolf Scouts moved slowly over the mountain, bolters hefted at their waists as the felt the snow crunch underfoot. “Damn patrol, Alrik always loses it when he tastes blood and it’s bloody hard to infiltrate when you’re leading around a Wulfen.” Gest put in. “Halldor, how you going down there?” The voice came over the radio, “Everything ok?” “It will be Beinir, Alrik got a taste of some Ork blood a while back,” Halldor replied, “Hopefully he calms down before we get there or that bloody Warboss will know where we are straight away.” “Well don’t worry about that, as long as you can plant the charges we’ll be fine, Berek, Kyrl and I can make damn sure they don’t know your there,” “Ha, what about Broddi and Gaut? I’m sure they’ll be able to help.” “Oh please, those two couldn’t hit a strike cruiser with a homing missile.” Beinir Joked. “Would you lot shut and get a damn move on? Were in position already.” Halifax’s voice said over the radio, “Bloody hell you lot were dropped closer than us as well.” “Ah shut it Halifax were coming!” Halldor replied indignantly. * * * “Ok Halifax were in position, oh would you look at that, somebody’s decided to join us, ay Alrik?” Halldor jested. “Ah shut it,” “Right is everybody ready for this?” Beinir asked. “Yeah were ready, we’ve been ready for at least an hour now.” Halifax said. “Right well let’s go then!” Beinir said over the radio. With that the Wolf scouts slipped into the Ork base undetected, mostly thanks to Beinir and his squad, even Space Marines need sniper cover sometimes. Halldor, Gest and Alrik moved towards their target in the centre of the base, an Ork Pulsar missile, while Thengir and Girom headed towards the main gate. “Target dead ahead Beinir, take him out.” Gest said. “With a small splash of blood, the Ork fell to the ground dead. “Nice shot Kyrl, Halifax how are you doing down there?” Beinir replied. “We’re ready, once the charges are set leg it over here, we’ll jump on these Ork bikes and get outta here. Skald and Kjarl have even put Melta-Bombs on all the Battlewagons. This ought to be good.” “Good, ok everybody give me a sitrep.” Beinir said. “Gate’s are ready to blow and were heading down the mountain,” Thengir said. “I just told you, bikes are ready to go and the Battlewagons are set to blow, you should try listening Beinir.” Halifax put in. “Shut it Halifax, Halldor what about you?” Beinir said. There was no reply and suddenly the whole complex was rocked by a series of loud explosions. “HOT DAMN, THAT WAS BLOODY GOOD!” Halldor seemed to yell into the radio, “BEINIR WE GOT AT LEAST A HUNDRED ORKS OVER HERE, INCLUDING GITKILLA AND SOME NOBZ, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?” “Ah damnit, everybody redeploy to cover Halldor’s team!” Beinir said aggravated. * * * Halldor jumped behind a barrel just as a rokkit hit the spot where he had been standing moments ago. “ALRIK GET BACK HERE!” He yelled as Alrik jumped straight onto the closest Ork, his hands had become vicious claws as he tore and bit at the Ork’s flesh. Gest and Halldor propped their bolters on top of the barrels and unleashed a storm of explosive bolts at the Orks as they began to drop from Beinir’s squad’s sniper fire. Just as Gitkilla yelled a ferocious WAAAGH!!! And charged towards Alrik he was met by a succession of shotgun rounds straight to the face by Halifax’s squad. “COME ON HALLDOR WE GOTTA GO! GRAB ALRIK!” Halifax yelled. As they retreated from the mass of Orks, Beinir and his squad continuing to fire on the Ork Horde, the gates to the base blew clean of their hinges as Thengir’s voice came over the radio, “We’re at the bottom of the mountain with the Thunderhawk ready for lift off, Halldor where are you morons?” “Slight problem Thengir, they know were here, be ready because we’re gonna be comin’ in fast!” Halldor said. “GET ON A DAMN BIKE AND PUNCH IT!” Halifax yelled over the sound of the Orks yelling and shooting. Moments later, 10 Ork bikes came screaming out the base’s gate. With a very audible WAAAGH!!! Gitkilla and his Nobz came careening out after them on bikes of their own followed by trukkks and Battlewagons bristling with Orks. “Kjarl now might be a good time to blow those Melta-bombs!” Halifax said. “Right,” Kjarl replied, pressing down the detonator which blew every battlewagon apart killing dozens of Orks, “Wow, nice work Skald!” “Pay attention, we still got a warboss and a bunch of bloody Nobz headed right for us!” Halifax yelled.
