Some Blood Angels

BLASPHEMY

j/k

But seriously, yellows are looking dang good too. Not that goofy bright yellow I've seen some folks use (makes the BA look more like clowns), nice and subdued. Subtle > overt.

I'm curious what pattern (if any) you'll use for your Jump Packs.

Cheers I figure that a squad of Assault Marines in a Rhino will be slightly more durable getting across the board in the face of Defilers and Whirlwinds and all the other good time pie plates. Of course they won't be able to charge when they get out on that turn but that'll be offset by using the Rhino as cover before moving it and then going crazy.

I've just started the Jump Pack equipped marines too, but I haven't thought too hard about what the pattern will be. Will have to have another flick through me old rulebooks and White Dwarfs. Incidently I was looking through the old ones from when the Epic scale Imperator Titan was released with Titan Legions, and Blood Angels were everywhere. Aah those were the days.

Black Watch @ Great minds think alike ;) Cool army by the way, that's a nice deep purple you've achieved.

I did some work tonight on my Sarge for the assault squad. All finished minus the flock on the base.

I've made a start on the Jump Pack squad too but need to do some modelling work on them as the paint is too thick on the helmets so the eyes are essentially filled up.

This marine is really superb - the yellow is, in my opinion, exceptional. I'm actually tempted to strip the heads I have on my new (now it seems, soon out of date...) VAS to follow this recipe. The reds are as I would like them too. I will admit, I was initially skeptical (thats relatively mind, compared with the other masters work on here etc. not my own!) with the tacticals, but the assault marines, particularly the one above, have totally won me over!

More please! :)

That lovely orange touched red reminds me most pleasantly of the GW Studio BA army circa the release of Codex: Angels of Death for W40K 2nd Ed. They do indeed make for a very nice tabletop army Duncs :)

Cheers gguys, the chainsword was simply a cut at the wrist and a reposition. I like his pose but wish I'd used a more elaborate chest piece because he looks a little plain. Glad you like him though. I bought a JP Chaplain yesterday and my mate gave two of the masters of the chapter models, so I've got some fun ahead of me now.

I thought I'd post these guys in here rather than setting up a new thread. They're me Space Hulk termies. I'm gonna order some 40mm bases and mount them so I can use them in my BA army.
