Rune Priest Ridcully
Because whilst their are threads for describing the fluff for you wolf lords and their background, there seem to be none like that for the Humble IronPriest, so please post background for your Iron priests, how you use them their play history aka games where they have done well/bad and how they have fared over the years, and pictures. I got a camera for christmas yet still have not managed to figure out how to upload pictures to my laptop, so I hope a description will surfice for the moment, basic Iron priest model with warriors of chaos shield stuck on the back of the bolt gun, shadow grey with codex drybrushed over as main colour, dwarf bronze trim boltgun metal on the servo arm, red on the shoulders and knee pads, purple hammer staff, scaly green on the hammer's wolf head, one of my better painted models and one of my personal favorites. Background Jason Ogg is one of the youngest Iron priests of the chapter, and the youngest of the Triumvirate of priests in Wolf Lord Alaric Thunderwolf's Great company and as such is the subject of teasing and jokes of the older priests, Wolf Priest Sajin Komamura, who after the sisters of the order of avenging Griffon joined the campain to hunt Horon Blackheart was revealed to be Jason's father with the cannoness Gytha "Nanny" Ogg being his mother, it is however not clear what caused the most damage, this revelation or the names the Wolf Priest and Cannoness used for each other, which shocked not only Jason, but Lord Thunderwolf, the entire company, the sisters of the Avenging Griffon, and the Grey Knights, Dark angels, Ultramarines and Salamanders acompanying them, Rune priest Mustrum Ridcully, the third Priest, was however not affected, having been around when the pair first met, and having already heard the nicknames and recovered after many years. Normally very calm, there have been several times when the enemy has caused slight damage to "Tenkan", a vindicator, which after years of sitting in the Fang awaiting repairs, was refited by Jason personnly rebuilt himself has been enougth to cause him to go into a Berserker rage that has caused the Long fangs to pray no one actually destroys the tank. Use I am going to try him with wolf tooth necklace and 4 Cyberwolves as a guard for my vindicator, have not tryed him yet under the current codex, but he has always done well under the old codex, so hopefully he will do well. jeremy1391
the way i will be using iron priests is tucked in a redeemer with his saga of the iron wolf and 3 thrall servitors because since FAQ his D3 extra move in a tank doesnt count against movement for shooting and he can repair from in the vehicle... so he will basically make my redeemer kind o venerable :) mind you some would view this as a horrible waste of points but hey in apoc it could be fun  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/190363-iron-priests/#findComment-2256446 Share on other sites

Skirax
Mounted on a bike, guarded by two cyberwolves and armed with nothing but a basic loadout and a wolftooth necklace. Slaughtered his way into an enemy held fortification. Ha, idiot heretical Inquisitors... Prophecy
Pratchett fan, much? Anyway, my Iron Priest riding a wolf, with four lupine friends and a WTN (for a bargain price of 165 points) is one of the most feared units on the table at my FLGS. Especially since I make sure to run someone with a wolfkin oath (hooray for I5!) in my lists. Niiai
Profechy, I was gonne paint up my wolf lord for that. :-) My games just jumped from 1000 to 1500 so I am gonne include ragnar, a hero on a wolf, an irion priest and a lott and lott of wolves. :-) Long fangs in the back. I am not entierly shure how I should do it but I want to build a "shield wall" of marines (with shields, not shure yet) who can shield all teh wolves giving them +4 saves. No army in teh wold can stop -that- mutch T4 cover saves (exept maybe vindicators. :P I am looking forward to trying it! commander alexander
One priest in the back on foot, either adding fire support, or taking care of whirlwinds and such, and the other mounted on a wolf with as much wolf as you can get!
