Skirax
IS it justifiable? Because I'm converting a squad of plastic Grey Knights and am thinking of giving the Justicar a Power Fist. At 75 points, is it justifiable? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/190365-power-fist-on-justicar/ Share on other sites
Aidoneus
Why would you pay 25pts, sacrifice an attack, and strike at I1, just to go up 2 strength? The only reason S6 wouldn't be good enough is against vehicles, and in that case you'd actually be better with a 5pt meltabomb. Justicar Valius
"Grey knights in power armour may only choose items from the wargear list, they are all trained in the blessed weaponary of their order and are forbidden to use lesser items" DH codex 2nd print run, page 16, first page of the armoury. So no it is no worth it or even legal! why is it I am the only one who ever seems to notice this quote? wizard12
it isn't illigal is he takes artificer armour but he then loses true grit and the cost goes up to 90points. You can get a brother captain with phycannon at that cost and that is much better than a justicar. So no. I'd never put a power fist on a justicar. The only cases that I'd ever change the justicars standard lad out (SB/NWF) is if I was alling him to an army that I knew was going to fight 10 greater daemons. Then I'd put an anointed weapon on him and a grimore of true names but since when do we get armys fielding 10+ greater daemons in a game. it isn't illigal is he takes artificer armour but he then loses true grit and the cost goes up to 90points. ntgcleaner
are you building one from scratch? If you just pull it out of the pack, everything matches up pretty well. Terminatorinhell
If you want to custom make a NFW, get a chainsword arm, clip of the sword and the pommel then glue a long enough plasticard rod to his hand and carve a blade from plasticard and add the chainsword power pack to the back. Then GS a purity seal on his arm. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/190365-power-fist-on-justicar/#findComment-2256612 Share on other sites

Skirax
 @ the above. I've modelled the NFW and I did what Terminatorinhell said, but to my credit, I thought it up before you! :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/190365-power-fist-on-justicar/#findComment-2258930 Share on other sites
