And so is White Hands Belial! (This has been dubbed Jazzhands by another member)

Despite being a templars player for the last 4 years and owning 3500 of painted Templars, I actually haven't gotten around to painting Helbrecht until now...

I've decided not to go with my typical bleached bone instead of white look as with the rest of my army. (seen here: http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j232/ult...d_Brethren2.jpg) I used pure skull white on helbrecht to make him stand out a bit more on the battle field.

Long time Titan. You know I really enjoy your work, and always look out for it, but I have to say I've seen you do way better. You must have taken some time off or something. The conversions are ace, it just seems that you've gotten lazier with the painting. Listen, no offence please. You're still king, I just mean that I've seen you do better.

i like jazz hands too.

Terminatorinhell: haha yeah i didn't notice it until someone point it out, it makes me laugh too

I am Legion: you're probably right, I definitely am taking less time with my painting and I'm usually watching a show while I do it haha. I feel that these Three characters are painted to the quality to match my various armies though.

Helbrecht is definitely painted to the quality of my templars, take a look and compare with the link on the first post to my sword brethren.

Shrike looks a lot worse in the photo becuase the highlights have kind been washed out by the camera but no excuses, it's not as nice as my other BA characters.

Belial represents the upper end of my speed painting. The whole model was covered in tin bits and some details picked out. It's not the more glamorous thing but it's fast and it matches my white hands army (of which I've painted about 2k work in the last couple of months)

Brother Duncs: I used terminator lightining claws, the torso from an old SM assault marine sergeant, dantes jetpack and the head from the BT sprue

Regarless of how fast you painted these guys, you still achived nice clean results. I know what you mean about the camera washing out highlights, my does that on my legionarries as well. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of your stuff.
It's well done. Usually you can tell people have taken the LC's from termies but you've cut them just right so they don't look too huge.

Yeah I think the mistake most people make is using the termi LC's without cutting them in any way. I've cut down the arms at the elbow and attached them to regular power armor arms. That way you don't get that ridiculous gorilla arms look

This is all speed painting?

Well I guess that's why king... my bad. now I'm in shock!!

haha not everything, just the belial.

although the helbrecht and shrike both took around 3-4 hours each. i just don't have time to sit around and do heavy layering or blending anymore and still get stuff done

I think that having other people nickname your units is rather fun. Because then they adapt to whatever nickname you give them.

Jazzhands, as far as being a nickname goes, is hilarious. It really fits.

Well painted, I thought.
