How many combi-weapons is enough?

My Great Company has one large unit of Terminators equipped with single Wolf Claws and ranged weapons but I'm wondering how many of the ten wolf Guard should be equipped with combi weapons of some kind. One in three?

 

I ask because the range/firepower of stormbolters is nice but combi-weapons also appeal. I'm thinking of using combi-meltas because their main target is infantry but it's always good to have some tools capable of other jobs.

Is there such a thing as too many combi-weapons? Personally definitely give them to your leaders, but if I'm gunna spend the points to give them terminator armor, usually I just go with CC killa deth (<-- ork term). Versatility is good, but generally I would rather have a specialized unit.

Well I gues it depends. Does the unit serve a spesifick spot in your army? If they are anti tanks then I would take 3 or 4 combi meltas. are they to counter the big ;)? Take 4 combi plasmas.

 

Combi flamers are not so bad eather since it lets you charge.

Agreed.

 

I'd say find the extra points and give them all the second wolf claw. 10 extra power weapon attacks in CC. Hoorah!
