Questions on making an inquisition only army

Hi all!

Been out of the game for a long while, would like to know a few things:

the daemonhunters and witch hunters codex that was printed in 2003, that's still legal ?

if so, i'll planning to make an all inquisitor army, coming the inquisitors from both codexes, planning to make it heretical

is that allowed ?

would it be viable ?

Those are still the legal codexes! There are swirling rumours about one or both of these books being replaced in the next year. Not sure how much faith to put in these rumours, but I and others have noticed that some of the kits (e.g., Sisters of Battle) aren't being restocked at physical GW stores. And that example kit I just mentioned isn't on the GW store, either.

I run a radical daemonhunters army. You end up being pretty restricted in what sort of list you can put together and it isn't very competitive.

 

But fluffy is fun too.

Heretical will mean. Inquisitors, retinues, Rhinos, hordes of IST's, Assassin, Daemonhost.

You could of course induct some guard to add to it.

Quite fluffy, quite fun, though not uberstrong. (but if you don't play tournies - no prob)
