However, I took a little time off taking time off to paint up a few more miniatures for this particular commission. No specific categories here really only fillers and a few special characters. They are quite chunky compared to GW but nothing that cannot be explained away by saying they are Heroes or uber guard or something, yes I would say around Term size. Is there a secret tip that I might be able to leach off you? Also, did you have trouble with the Forgeworld Dreadnaughts head? I found that once it's in, it doesn't come out leading to a MASSIVE trouble of trying to get at it. Thinking of cutting off that bottom stump if that makes sense? BulldogUK Posted December 2, 2010 Author Share Posted December 2, 2010 Hi Shadow, I lay down the basic colours using an airbrush (mainly for the speed aspect) then finish the minis off with a brush blend and line around the edges, that's it really! Regarding the Dread I really couldn't comment as all the minis and vehicles are assembled when they arrive, saves me a whole lot of work so I aint complaining and I never really have a problem with hard to access areas, just gotta get your angles right and a small enough brush! ps. good coverage is all down to a good even undercoat, black in this case, let it do the work for you and create a lot of the shadows and darker areas Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
