But does not a tank count as a model in this case?

Vehicles are not affected by the power in any way, so its higly debatable wether they could be considered a valid target or not.

Indeed, thats why a better definition of a "target model" would be better here.. even if clearly GW refers to only living things by using the word "he."

Which of course creates another controversy, implying that Adepta Sororitas are immune to this power.

Damn sexist GW :)

Yes i believe it does. JotWW does not affect Vehicles, but there is nothing stating that you cant target it. The line must be straight from start to finish, no angles or curves, and remember it "undermines" cover saves :)

Rofl! Omg! Sisters are Imba!

Can we please stop responding to threads where its completely clear that the original poster has not read the bloody rulebook or his/her codex?? STOP FEEDING THE IGNORANCE!!!

Lunch, if it offends you so much, then don't read the thread or posts in the thread.

Did you even read my reply to you?

Apparently not.

Please read it.

I even took the time to go to GW's website, download the FAQ and copy/paste the relevant section into my reply.

The least you could do is to...ya know... read it...

No it does not.

Please see my previous comment in this thread:

Hey guys thought I would use this thread to ask another question.

Do I need to aim jaws at a target that can be affected or can I aim it at,say a tank for example and then kill things behind it?

Technically I can fire for example a bolt pistol at a Land Raider but I cant wound it,is it the same with jaws?

The FAQ says that you must have line of sight to the first model that the power effects, so if a tank's blocking the way, it's no good. If, however, that tank is parked behind some hapless chap, and there are targets behind the tank, the power will hit them (provided they're in line with the effect, and they're within range, of course). You just need to have line of sight to an "affectable" model.

But he means if he can specifically target the tank to be that first model? Since the tank is a model I´m pretty sure that you can.

From the FAQ:

Q. Does Jaws of the World Wolf require line of sight? Does it ignore terrain that blocks line of sight (i.e., impassible terrain)?

A. As a psychic shooting attack, Jaws of the World Wolf requires line of sight. The Rune Priest must have line of sight to the first model that the power affects – in effect he is treated as the target model; the power just happens to hit everybody else on its way through!

So no.

I did read and I really love people being snide so thank you. It simply did not answer my question at the time. It has now after correlation with the rest of the posts, so call me ingrate if you wish but dont complain about you doing "a lot" of work when you simply could have asked me to read that portion of the FAQ.

Missing the keyword affect is a simple thing to do so chill out.
