IC and WG Leadership

Fire Wolf

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, quick question.

I'm still getting into how WH40k plays out and when my Wolves were engaged with Daemonhunters last night, a few questions came up in the form of Leadership tests.

If I attach my Wolf Lord of a Wolf Guard to a pack of Grey Hunters, when taking Leadership tests, does the Wolf Lord/Wolf Guard's higher Ld value take effect for the whole unit or is it majority leadership like how toughness is determined?

Thanks!

Having a higher leadership score entails the ability use your leadership capabilities to rally those around you. This is reflected in the rules by always using the highest available, unless there is a specific rule that changes it- like say Lukas the Trickster.

Even then, it should be noted that a Wolf Priest makes a unit fearless- but doesnt change their Ld score if Lukas is around. Fearless is a rule though, not a score, so it goes through fine.

Ah-ha! Thanks fellas! For some reason I could not find that in the core rule book to save my life. I appreciate ya'll clearing that up.
