Seva Posted January 28, 2010 Author Share Posted January 28, 2010 Thanks Baal. Yeah David I used the tutorial that Baal Dropout put up. It's a good starting point to get you going in the right direction. There is another guy who did helmets like those only his were for his DC. I just saw his site the other day. Mortarion is his name. Pretty good site. I leave a bit more of the face and instead of making a cross I just do a bit more smoothing and cutting once the bottom of the plate gets to where I want it to be. It takes some time to do and I'm not 100% awesome at it. I'll probably give it another go once the new mini's come out. I like marine helmets don't get me wrong, I just like my elite units to stand out. I hope Blood Angels get more crusade style helmets. I like pre-heresy style as well. I like to think my army is from an earlier time. I think I could sort of pull it off as I don't have the double headed aquilla anywhere in the army. I ramble.
