They're.... Clownish is the only word I can come up with. I grew up just southwest of Philadelphia and every New Year's Day was subjected to the single most horrifying thing I've ever faced, The Mummer's Parade. It still sends a shiver down my back and I haven't lived in the Philly area for 20 years. Think Carnivale but populated with large, middle aged, white men who've spent the early morning hours keeping warm with strong drink.

That is what these masks remind me of the most. ;)

My latest toy. I've finished construction and have primed the model so I'll try and keep folks up-to-date with the painting.

Nose on view, showing the weapons. I used DA speeder Assault Cannons grafted to a Lascannon Predator mantlet, 4 Valkyrie missiles and a pair of rocket pods from somewhere in the depths of time. The other pair of missiles are further under the wing using the standard hardpoint mounting.

Abeam view showing all the various bits I used to cover the awful hack job I managed while building the cockpit and dorsal spine. Those old Chimera/Basilisk armor plates did a great job covering the area where the wings normally slot in to the booms.

Astern showing the tail stabs and a little of the Dreadnought cradle section.

Left rear quarter shot that shows the tail and cradle with a bit more perspective.

After I get the base coat on I'll post as I do detail work.
