i had my RP make 7 saves (3 one turn , 3 the next and 1 on the fourth turn) with his psychic hood against zoanthropes against my whirlwind with that warp lance dealy. then finally on the last turn of the game JoTWW his swarm lord (it was my first succesful for caste of the game due to his aggressive drop podding of pearls of the warp) was awesome needed that 6 lol

Yeah that's correct. They must all be against the same target however. :(

In my first (and so far only) game with Space Wolves I took a RP with Jaws, LL and MOTR. He rolled a double six on his Ld test for Jaws against a Mawloc but then when he got into combat he used MOTR to Force Weapon the beast to death, he goes with my Wolf Guard who are normally heroically heading for the biggest target they can so being able to suck the life out of something is worth the 50pts in my book.

As a side question, does anybody ever even use fury of the wolf spirits?

 

I use it from time to time on my RP, mostly together with LL in my tourney army. It actually does a good deal of damage if you blast away with pistols/meltas from the squad and then charge. It is a sweet "pistol" he got anyway =D
