Wolf Guard in TDA. The only way to pick up the extra attack for two CCW is to get 2 WC, 2 PF, or a plasma pistol.

 

I mean, you don't get the bonus for PW & combi or PW and stormbolter...right?

nope, its like that for any speciatly weapon, and i dont think you get it for having a plasma pistol...ie plasma pistol and power weapon would not grant you the extra +1

Plasma Pistols are still pistol and thus close combat weapons so still give an extra attack when paired with a power weapon( not a power fist, LC or Thunder hammer). However, i'm pretty sure that plasma pistols canot be taken by models in TDA.

Per the codex, once you're in TDA you can get Combi weapons, but not a straight plasma pistol. If you could get a plasma pistol than yes you would get the extra attack, but it is not available. So taking your special weapons as twins would be the only way.

Note: Unless your Njal Stormcaller, the only person in the galaxy to be dextrous enough to use a bolt pistol while in TDA.

Sadly the rules for two SCCWs mean that you wouldnt, because you can never get +1 attack when armed with 2 SCCWs that are different.

Since when can you not get +1 attack for 2x 1 handed weapons, cause their is no note anywhere within my rulebook.

theres something in the book about the confusion of wielding two different special close combat weapons (in the example above it was power weapon and frost blade) and it says the model may never gain the bonus attack.

theres no issue with normal ccw or a special and a normal, just two special ccw.

Yeah you only ever get the benefit of one or other special close combat weapon, and as a result, (its worded clearly - sorry dont have rule book with me) you never get the bonus attack either (i.e. your essentially use one or other weapon, not both at the same time).
