Leather straps are an option, i want them finish, its not hard to add the leather later, but what would you consider on the shoulder pad itself.

Im doing loken, torgaddon, aximand, and maybe abaddon, but i dont like him that much,

You could use my Enclave army's other symbol if you'd really like. It's all three of the Emperor's symbols (aquila, red-eye of Horus, and the lightning bolt arrows.) though, it depends mostly on when your setting your guys. If they are still fairly new (i.e. early Great Crusade, not tempted by Chaos) then lightning bolts. If late Great Crusade, red-eye of Horus. You could also just put the number of the legion.

Thats quit a good idea, my luna wolves are set in a very short period of time, lets, say around the attack on the false imperium, at the beginning of Horus Rising. I think i will add the red eye, as it i feel it really screams luna wolves. BTW all five will get the eye on their chest. I did a few freehand luna wolves symbols and legion numbers, though you cant see them from that angle. Will consider the lightning,

Heres an update they are pretty much done, part from the sergeant/captain's arms who still need work.

Tell me what you think what you would add or change, etc. Im going to add details, such as eyes on the shoulder pads of the two who don't have any.

Hey guys thanks for the answers,

The black has been a problem for me, im really have problems making it look good without making it look weird any help on that?

Im using normal Vanilla Marines terminators. When i play using Space Wolves rule, i keep the same layout.

Looking very good brother, one can clearly see that these guys have been given a lot of TL&C ^_^ The red on the cape really came out well.

Yeah black can be a bit of a :D to highlight. If you've seen my termies (link in sig), I'd be more than happy to tell you how I did their highlights.

Just take a peak at them and see if it's the kind of highlight you are aiming for. If not, then simply keep on trying! Black thankfully is one of the colors you can just paint back over and try again if you don't get it right the first time :P

Good luck!

Thanks for the answer, my problem is that i want to keep the black deep and dark without making it look shiny. I like your terminators Alex, but i don't think it would work for me. Ill check the GW site.

Im thinking of adding some bleached bone or kommando kaki to the highlight.

No worries mate, we aren't allways aiming for the same look :)

Bleached of kaki could work, making it dull rather than shiny as astro grey does.

Be sure to keep us updated on how it works out!

Cheers!

Thanks Alex, sure thing ill update as soon as a work on them, doing some normal troopers now,

the helmets,in my opinion, are very...post-heresy....why not use mk III helmets,or similar? In the Heresy time, terminators used normal helmets.

Really? You sure, i have the Collected Visions book where all the helms seem to be done that way. Other pre-heresy armies also seem to have that type of helmets? Do you have any reference for that would honestly like to see that i might be wrong

Looking good so far! I like the weathered gritty look you've managed to pull on their heads, makes them seem like the grizzled warriors they are. The only thing bugging me is the sergeants pose, but I'm guessing that is still WIP?

Cheers!
