@Ludo: Nah, it looks like a mutant donkey!

I will treat them as TWC. The only drawback I see to these is the lack of "sci-fi" stuff on them. I cannot find any bits that would do the Job. Even though I know the would come from Fenris Tribes, they seem appart fro mthe rest of the force. I would like something to unify them, like a shoulder pad or something...

This is a great idea. I have several Lupine models from Warlord on my shelf that I have only used once or twice. The Rager models work great as Wulfen and some of the models are already armed with crude close combat weapons, a little greenstuff and some spare bits and we are in business. The officer model has twin blades and his pose is just every kind of awesome! I won't be able to use them for tournies but that is not a big con for me. The only game altering issue is the bases, they are square as opposed to round, not entirely sure either the total difference in size between the round and square bases. Small consideration as the models don't cost much more than $10 dollars or so.

Anyone ever think of using the Confrontation models from Rackham?

Yes, I have considered Warlord and Confrontation models, but I am very picky when it comes to count-as models. I wanted a fully legal force for official tournies, and miniatures I designed myself.

@The Hephilim: I could try to add pieces of power armor here and there, a bit like Ogryns, but keeping the rounnd shoulder pads.

Hephilim? Is that like a cross between Hugh Hefner and myself? *strokes goatee thoughtfully* I like it. You sir, have my approval.

I think bits of armor would really make the model pop. It already stands out as pure badassery (yes, it's a word) and I think it would look more GrimDark than hulked out werewolves, not that hulked out werewolves are bad, mind you. I think if you did some posing with a few of actually have shields strapped to their forearms, weilding wicked looking massive thunderhammers, it would complete the GrimDark badassery image.

I like the second one much better. The first one looks like it has a potbelly to it, and while that works for Rat Ogres, I don't feel like that's the look the Sons of Russ should have. They should be lean and wiry, like hunters. Consider, perhaps, shaving that down and resculpting the stomach (since you obviously have no problem with greenstuff)?
I might have missed this, being new to the fora and the sons of Russ:

What about one of these? Anyone tried it? The base in the picture is 25mm

:D Im not exactly sure that would work cause it almost looks as if they have just come out of a human form into a werewolf which i dont think works with what hes tryin to do here in terms of staying in the wolfform

I have a ton of fluff written around this subject for "My" Wolves. Anyway I will Take some Pictures tonight and try and get them up to show my take on this. I just got him back from a friend of mine who painted him for me. Great Guy, loved it so much he bought it off me when I started selling things. Anyway, Told me told use it in my army and keep it here kind of thing. Guess he counldn't see it go after his 20 hours of painting it. Anyway, ill post picks later when I sober up a bit :P
