Horus Heresy Collected Visions Units

[Verythrax Draconis]

The Horus Heresy visions artbooks show a lot of different, mechanicus specific units.

 

Are they described elsewhere, of they were just created "mindlessly", to spice up the card game?

 

If no official info exist on those, there is some fan info on those?

Do you have the names of the said units?

[Verythrax Draconis]

Photon Thruster (looks like some heavy, maybe ordnance weapon)

Plasma Projector (looks like some heavy, maybe ordnance weapon)

Eviscerator Engine (looks like some heavy, maybe ordnance weapon)

Mechanicum Protector

Machinator Squad (your average AM guy, but one specific shot shows one near a tank, with severa small mech spiders - maybe some kind of repairman?)

Annihilator Team (your average AM, with some heavy weapons)

Surveille-Class Robot (scout robot? pod-like robot with 2, very long and thin legs)

Doombringer (don't remember, need to look at the book again)

Neutrino Irradiators (I'm not sure about those, seems like some tanklike speeders?)

Eta-Kappa 00 (this seems to be a unit demonination, but the robot/armor is pretty unique and cool - it' covered by rounded, a golder armor, with no decorations)

AlphaOmega 05 (same thing as before, but it's a heavv robot with threads instead of legs)

Lambda-Zeta 01 (a squad of dread-like, three-headed, over-decorated robots)

 

* all units have a 2 greek letters + 2 digit number denominations. I ommited those, focusing on the name of the unit/equipament. the last 3 ones don't have any name besides their denominations

The only one I recognise from the fluff is a Protector. They are used as bodyguards by Magii and other ranking officials I believe.

Photon Thruster - Described in "Dark Adeptus" as a shoulder mounted heavy beam weapon that cut through titan leg armor relatively easily

Photon Projector - See above save that is shot 'bolts of black lightning'

Eviscerator Engine - A Close combat heavy assault vehicle (Close combat Dread conversion?)

Mechanicum Protector - Located in the book "Mechanicum." Internal Auspex, combat enhancers, staff weapon (staff of light like the necrons?) and an upgradeable Combat Wetwork for taking down Knights and large targets.

Mechanator Squad - Exactly as Verythrax Draconis says

Annihilator Team - Potentially a group of techpriests whose sole occupation is the destruction of Tech heretics? Sounds brutal enough.

 

Unsure as to the rest.

It sounds Eta, Alpha, and Lambda are the three old robot models from the Rogue Trader era.
