CoinReturn
That is absolutely fantastic. Where do I get one? It's like the Tech-Marines had a few too many drinks and made something fantastic out of the empty barrel. Prophecy
One of those planks has to have a "Wulf-Brau" logo on it. DV8
Very interesting use of the new Skaven Doomwheel, although I'd give him some sort of screen he can see from, unless he plans to zig-zag across the battlefield. Night Runner
First of all welcome to the Fang. Secondly, I think that's the most novel idea I've seen yet for a TWC replacement. I haven't seen the Skaven kit in hands, but I was wondering on the lines of DV8, that is whether or not you could widen the wheels it to allow him to see through? Grimtooth
Reminds me too much of the vehicle that Mr. Garrison invented in Southpark. apheleon
Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad this monstrosity got a chuckle or two:). This project was actually a little break I took from the monotony of assembling and painting my main SW force. This is probably a one-off but I'm really tempted to field a whole slew of these guys sometime in the future after I'm done with the main SW project. I've been collecting 40K miniatures since the late eighties but only recently decided that I would enjoy the gaming part of the hobby, so I'm pretty much a complete noob and raring to get some games in. Once again, thanks for the welcome! cheers, Apheleon www.fortythousand.net p.s. He's probably got a 3D HUD in his helmet to assist with the steering, heh. Xeenos
First of all welcome to the Fang. Secondly, I think that's the most novel idea I've seen yet for a TWC replacement. I haven't seen the Skaven kit in hands, but I was wondering on the lines of DV8, that is whether or not you could widen the wheels it to allow him to see through? >_< i have that season! So funny. As to the doomwheel space wolf. Thats GREAT! Though, i think it would make a better stand in for a biker. I couldnt see a normal space wolf rolling around in that think.. but a Blood Claw? Ya sure! As for their ablity to see infront of them, you can add in a sensor or a camara to the outside of the thing and a computer screen to go infront of him so he can see whats right infront. Though, thats a little thing, and not really that important! Another idea, while this is likly an expensive model, rather then making a 5 man squad of these, perhaps make them your Iron Priests special tech bike or thunderwolf?
