Warhorse47
I guess my search fu is weak, but i cannot find the answer to this. I play Space Wolves and IG and want to add an Inquisitor with retinueto my army to combat infiltration. My question is: if he takes a transport, such as a land Raider, soes this count as part of the retinue or would it be considered a heavy support option and not be allowed? Thanks in advance. Land Raider would be dedicated transport and not take up a spot in the FOC. So in theory in one standard FOC you could run 7 land raiiders. Momento Mori
Actually this is a very good question, as I was faced with something similar. Does having a unit of Retributers in an Immolator use up one of the Heavy slots, or does this also count as being a dedicated transport? Inquisitor Fox
Actually this is a very good question, as I was faced with something similar. Does having a unit of Retributers in an Immolator use up one of the Heavy slots, or does this also count as being a dedicated transport? If the Immolator is purchased as the transport option to an allowed unit of Retributors (6 members or less) than it does NOT use up an additional slot, as it is part of the Retributors unit. It only uses a slot if it is bought independantly of any other unit as a HS choice. This is the same answer as if it were bought for a unit of Celestians or Dominions. This means that theoretically the highest number of Immolators you can have in any army is 11 :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/191720-easy-question-here-i-hope/#findComment-2275157 Share on other sites

kiwitexansfan
This thread got me thinking..... You could run a 6 Land Raider list at 2000pts GKGM Inquisitor + LR with smoke, SL Inquisitor + LR with smoke, SL Inquisitor + LR with smoke, SL 2*5 IST in Chrimera with ML & HF LR with smoke, SL LR with smoke, SL LR with smoke, SL = 1999pts Now to get 6 Land Raiders Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/191720-easy-question-here-i-hope/#findComment-2275205 Share on other sites

The Inquisitors have to have a retinue to get the transport option. If you dropped the Chimeras you could probably squeeze it in. According to the book you could actually get a 7 raider list by also including an HQ choice Inquisitor Lord.. but that'd be easier at say, 2500. Your right, you'd have to give the Inquisitors a mystic or familiar. so that is 18 pts you'd have to find. I guess you could drop the Chimeras, put the ISTs in the LRs and add another squad of them. GKGM Inquisitor with 2 mystics + LR with smoke, SL, EA Inquisitor with 2 mystics + LR with smoke, SL, EA Inquisitor with mystic + LR with smoke, SL, EA 3*5 IST with 2 plasma guns LR with smoke, SL, EA LR with smoke, SL, EA LR with smoke, SL, EA 1999 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/191720-easy-question-here-i-hope/#findComment-2275240 Share on other sites
