Thanks everyone. Sorry about the eyes, they are a dark red that didn't show up in the picture because they are so sunken in. When I decided to do the conversion beam I knew I didn't want him to carry it because the idea of tech marine carrying something large like that didn't sit well with me. The Mechanicus has so many toys, why would they need muscles to carry anything.
very nice, I like it a lot, but can someone just explain to me, what EXACTLY is a conversion beamer/beam?

 

It's a weapon that originally dates back to the first edition (along with web guns, shurikens for Marines, multi-lasers, the graviton gun and other goodness). It projects a beam that converts matter into energy - as the beam grows in power over distance, it has a variable profile depending on the range to the target.

 

In 5th edition, it's a very rare artifact used only by the Master of the Forge.
