My first Wolf Lord

I think it is a very good rendering and a wolfy paint job. Congrats. :) My only critique would be the head seems to be sunk in - like it has no neck, or at least that is the appearance I see. Maybe if you raise the head with a bit of putty it would look much better.

welcome to that fang blood claw

i like him alot but i agree with the others about the head being too sunken. I like the massiveness of the wolf pelt in the last pic it suits him.

i have one question though, what is he made from? im finding it really hard to work it out.

have an ale on me for a job well done

ps. whats his name and whats his story?

Welcome brother, i like the grey you have used, the wolf pelt in the last picture looks a bit to big but otherwise a great conversion.

@ Acid burn I could be mistaken but it looks like the lower half is a the legs of the Ultramarine honeour gaurd model (could just as easily be Khan but i doubt that)

the res looks like GS work

Thanks all

Legs including a belt from Marneus Calgar. Emblems of ultaramarines was cut off, kneecaps and spillikins on chains are modeled from green staff

Torso (power armor) - a back part is standard, front part is modeled + add an emblem from standard wloves torso

Shouders are standard

Hands - conversion. Right hand: hand with a sword is cutt off from the hero of "Assault on Black Reach". The second hand is standard from old wolf box (a hand with the power sword - one is cut off) + MKIV boltpistol. There is an alternative of second hand with a shield (here not on photo)

Head - a full moulding from zero

Backpack is standard + the wolf heads from old wolf box

Raincoat - a moulding from zero

Base - standard black base + stones and grass.

Besides on shoulders in the complete set there is a massive wolf (last photo)

I use this model as Ragnar in my army

Wamp, is this really the same Wolf Lord as the one in the first post!!!, because the improvements are staggering to the point of unbelief. I hardly recognized the model. Congrats man, an excellent piece of work. :tu:

Hope to see more of your work soon.
